Engineer, Backend (Events Team) at Zapier

You should be highly proficient in Python or Go and have at least 2 years of hands-on experience building streaming systems using Kafka (MSK) or similar tools within an AWS environment. Because this team manages the foundational "Events" engine that powers the entire platform, a background in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and a reliability-focused (SRE) mindset are essential.
