This role is ideal for a mid-level sales professional who has a proven track record in the Public Sector (Federal, State, or Local) and a genuine interest in the data science landscape. You should be comfortable navigating the complexities of government RFPs, acquisition regulations, and long sales cycles. While this is a "hunting" role focused on net-new business, you’ll be selling a product with a massive open-source footprint and a strong reputation among R and Python users.
The compensation features a $70k–$91k base with a 50/50 commission split, but the real standout is the "human-first" benefit package.
