This role is designed for a seasoned CPA with 6+ years of experience, ideally coming from a Big 4 accounting firm or a publicly traded SaaS/Fintech company. You should have at least 3 years of direct people management experience and a mastery of US GAAP and SOX compliance. Because this position involves managing global GL operations, including capitalized software and international statutory books, they are looking for a high-performer who can juggle complex month-end closes with high-level financial infrastructure projects. The compensation is highly competitive at $170,000 CAD base, supplemented by bonus eligibility and equity. While the role is "Remote-first," it is not "Remote-only"—you should expect to travel for team offsites several times a year. Coinbase is looking for a highly motivated Accounting Manager to join our Global GL Operations Accounting team and play a key role in our continued growth and achievement of operational excellence. The Senior Accounting Manager, GL Operations must possess strong accounting, operational and managerial expertise, an ability to communicate and work with various teams inside of Finance (such as Tax, FP&A, Financial Reporting, Payroll and Accounts Payable), and a desire to make a meaningful impact on a dynamic, high-growth technology company.
