You should be highly proficient in Kotlin or Java and comfortable moving beyond just UI to handle data-intensive, fault-tolerant applications. While primarily an Android role, a "full-stack" mindset is highly valued, as the team works with a diverse tech stack including Go, Python, and gRPC. The compensation is a major standout, with a base salary ranging from **$190,800 to $267,100** plus equity and 401k matching. While the role is based on-site in San Francisco, it offers high-impact work on visible projects like AI-driven ad formats and interactive user experiences. The Brand Ad Formats team drives the development of ad formats that help advertisers maximize reach and brand impact. They focus on high-visibility, awareness-driven solutions that create memorable experiences for Reddit users. By delivering guaranteed placements and engaging ad interactions, they support major brand initiatives and help advertisers achieve measurable outcomes. Their work includes evolving existing formats and launching entirely new ones to keep Reddit’s ad offerings fresh and competitive.The team is working on multiple new formats including a fully customizable interactive ad format, and an ad format that uses AI to incorporate User-Generated Content.

The base salary range for this position is:
$164,200—$229,000 USD
