# Job Description Summary

As an Application Specialist, you will deliver clinical and operational expertise by providing education and training support within the Ultrasound modality to clinical end-users across a variety of care areas.

As a clinical expert, you will be part of and work closely with the commercial team, facilitating evidence-based practice and support to both customers and team members from pre-sale activities and throughout the entire product life cycle, including supporting and developing the installed base.

# Job Description

## Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and in-depth education and training sessions to external customers, with the ability to propose solutions to day-to-day clinical and operational challenges.

• Design and deliver flexible training solutions to meet specific customer needs, including remote or online education.

• Investigate and analyze local market and customer needs, using in-depth knowledge of ultrasound systems and clinical workflows to support commercial strategies and projects.

• Share relevant insights and prioritize information to support sales, marketing, and customer engagement initiatives.

• Maintain awareness of competitive solutions and understand key differentiators in the market.

• Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in close collaboration with the local commercial team.

• Act as a subject matter resource for colleagues and contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization.

• Join and support the team in marketing and educational activities such as trade shows, workshops, and congresses.

• A role at this level requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, combined with ultrasound technical and/or clinical experience.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience working with ultrasound systems.

• Solid understanding of clinical education and adult learning principles.

• Proven ability to communicate complex information clearly and adapt messaging based on the audience.

• Willingness and ability to travel.

• Valid driving license.

• Fluency in Swedish and good working knowledge of English.

• Ability to work independently with strong organizational and planning skills.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze situations and solve problems effectively.

• Self-motivated, accountable, and proactive in taking ownership of responsibilities.

• Customer- and growth-oriented mindset, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

• Prior experience within the ultrasound field is a requirement.
