# Job Description Summary
As an Application Specialist you will deliver clinical and operational expertise by providing education and training support within the modality Ultrasound – As an Application Specialist, you will deliver clinical and operational expertise by providing education and training support within the Ultrasound Voluson modality to clinical end-users within OB/Gyn.
As a clinical expert, you will be part of and work closely with the commercial team, facilitating evidence-based practice and support to both customers and team members from pre-sale activities and throughout the entire product life cycle, including supporting and developing the installed base.
Ultrasound is a dynamic and continuously evolving business with a wide range of clinical applications. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with healthcare professionals across multiple specialties, contribute to customer success, and support the continued growth of the ultrasound business.
# Job Description
## Responsibilities
- Provide on-site and in-depth education and training sessions to external customers, with the ability to propose solutions to day-to-day clinical and operational challenges.
- Design and deliver flexible training solutions to meet specific customer needs, including remote or online education.
- Investigate and analyse local market and customer needs, using in-depth knowledge of ultrasound systems and clinical workflows to support commercial strategies and projects.
- Share relevant insights and prioritize information to support sales, marketing, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Maintain awareness of competitive solutions and understand key differentiators in the market.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in close collaboration with the local commercial team.
- Act as a subject matter resource for colleagues and contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization.
- Join and support the team in marketing and educational activities such as trade shows, workshops, and congresses.
- A role at this level requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
## Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in midwife, biomedical analyst or equivalent education, combined with ultrasound technical and/or clinical experience within OB/Gyn.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience working with ultrasound systems.
- Solid understanding of clinical education and adult learning principles.
- Proven ability to communicate complex information clearly and adapt messaging based on the audience.
- Willingness and ability to travel and overnight stay.
- Fluency in Swedish and good working knowledge of English.
- Ability to work independently with strong organizational and planning skills.
