## JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX is currently seeking an Assistant, Business and Legal Affairs to provide business and legal affairs-related support to the FOX Sports businesses. Support generally consists of general administrative duties as well as contract administration and coordination with respect to Sports deals. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented individual who can manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Various legal assistant and administrative duties (managing attorney calendars and schedules, coordinating executive travel, processing expense reports, etc.)
- Contract administration and coordination (drafting correspondence, coordinating electronic signatures, distributing and filing contracts)
- Schedule and handle logistics for internal and external meetings, calls, and video conferencing
- Assist attorneys and contract managers with the drafting of agreements, statements of work, contract amendments, and option letters
- Distribute internal notices for exercise of contractual options and term expiration dates
- Track documents from draft through execution; review, proofread, and prepare documents for signature
- Maintain and administer the iManage contract filing system
- Accurately input and track deal and rights information into the rights management system
- Compile deal and issue summaries for attorneys in preparation for executive discussions
- Review and analyze contracts to support data entry and enable the legal team to guide contractual rights and obligations
- Run reports for attorneys as needed
- Support departmental special projects and initiatives
- Collaborate effectively with internal departments and executives at all levels
- Perform additional duties and projects, as assigned by management
WHAT YOU WILL NEED- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of relevant prior work experience
- Proficiency with common business and legal software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), Adobe Acrobat, Zoom, PowerPoint, Google Worksheets, Box, iManage, Rightsline, etc.
- Strong verbal and written (including legal drafting) communication skills
- Strong proofreading skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and tracking skills
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and a client-service mindset in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company
- Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Ability to prioritize independently, manage multiple deadlines, and complete a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment
- Eagerness and aptitude for learning new concepts and systems
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER- Prior experience in Business & Legal Affairs and/or Deal and Rights Management
- Previous experience in proofreading and administering spreadsheets/document tracking systems
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
