Location: Remote
Salary: $179,200 – $280,000/yr
Type: Full-time
This role is for a **Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO)** who bridges the gap between clinical excellence and business operations. While the "Seniority Level" is listed as entry-level, the description specifically requires at least **3 years of post-graduate experience** and a background in clinical quality auditing. You are ideal for this if you are a "first-principles" thinker who enjoys building systems rather than just following them. The compensation is highly competitive ($179,200 - $280,000) for a **fully remote** role. A standout feature is the unique blend of a Series D startup environment with robust benefits, including equity, 16 weeks of parental leave, and a holiday break between Christmas and New Year’s. You’ll have the chance to scale quality standards across a massive network of 60,000+ providers. **You might be a good fit if you:** * Are a licensed Psychiatrist with experience in chart reviews and clinical documentation standards. * Enjoy collaborating with non-clinical partners like Product and Engineering to automate workflows. * Have led or supervised clinical teams, specifically NPs or other MDs. * Want to move away from full-time practice into a strategic, systems-building role.

Headway is building a new mental healthcare system that everyone can access by making it easy for therapists to accept insurance and scale their practice.
Headway was founded in 2019. Since then, we’ve grown into a diverse, national network of over 60,000 mental healthcare providers across all 50 states who run their practice on our software and have served over 1 million patients. We’re a Series D company with over $325m in funding from a16z (Andreessen Horowitz), Accel, GV (formerly Google Ventures), Spark Capital, Thrive Capital, Forerunner Ventures and Health Care Service Corporation.
