Type: Full-time
This role is designed for a technical leader who bridges the gap between hands-on engineering and people management. The ideal candidate is a Linux and Cloud expert—specifically within the Ubuntu, OpenStack, and Kubernetes ecosystems—who thrives in customer-facing environments. You should have a background in both technical pre-sales and professional services delivery, with a genuine passion for mentoring engineers.
The position offers a unique "remote-first" global culture with a strong emphasis on academic excellence and professional development. Standout perks include a $2,000 annual learning budget, performance-based bonuses, and twice-yearly in-person international sprints. Travel is expected up to 25% of the time to engage with customers and attend company events.
**You might be a good fit if you...**
* Have deep practical knowledge of Linux, networking, and modern cloud stacks (OpenStack, AWS, or Azure).
* Enjoy a "player-coach" model where you contribute to technical pre-sales and troubleshooting alongside your team.
* Possess a strong academic record and a proven track record of managing and scaling engineering talent.
* Are comfortable navigating the transition from sales conversations to hands-on implementation and handover.
