Your Contributions
- Collaborate as a member of the Internal Communications team to promote our work, values, and culture internally and to clients in support of our brand.
- Support the Internal Comms team in day-to-day coordination of the global internal communications plan, activities, and campaigns.
- Develop written communications (emails, Slack & intranet posts, etc.) for our global internal audience.
- Help collate content for our monthly ‘Good Day at FIRST’ meetings and monthly @ FIRST e-newsletter.
- Support the Internal Communication team in the day-to-day coordination of internal communication campaigns and local internal events.
- Potentially assist team members in creating content for our FIRST Hub (intranet), monthly @ FIRST e-newsletter, and other communications that support our plan, including copywriting, proofreading, and collaboration with designers.
- Support internal communication events such as company-wide meetings as needed.
- Assist with general Internal Communication tasks and ad-hoc duties and admin as necessary.
- Bring enthusiasm, inspiration, and fresh ideas to the team, and flexibility and adaptability while working with global teams across multiple time zones.
- Act as an ambassador for the FIRST brand, leading by example and displaying the company’s core values (Ambition, Creativity, Excellence, Integrity, Teamwork)

- Working towards a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Understanding of different marketing techniques
- Prior events experience or working within a creative capacity is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite; hands-on experience with marketing computer software (eg, CRM tools) preferred but not required
- Excellent project management skills, including: multi-tasking, prioritization of tasks (i.e., time management), attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Demonstrate strong research and organizational skills
- A self-starter able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take direction well
- Graphics/Photoshop experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to adapt to different situations, personalities, and requests
- A calm and flexible approach to handling pressure and stress
- Team player able to liaise with other members of the team
- Should exert sound judgment, discretion, and preserve confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail
United States Residents: The base pay for this position is $20.00-$25.00/hour.
