It is suited for a detail-oriented lawyer who enjoys a high-volume docket and wants to solve complex, real-world problems in a fast-paced crypto environment. **Key highlights** You will own a comprehensive docket of U.S. consumer disputes, arbitrations, and labor/employment matters. # Proof of work
## The team
Payward’s Litigation team manages one of the most complex and high-volume global dockets in the crypto industry, spanning consumer arbitrations, commercial disputes, class actions, employment matters, mass arbitration proceedings, and regulatory enforcement. We are a lean, execution-oriented team that operates with urgency, holds itself to an exceptionally high standard, and solves hard problems at scale.
We are looking for a lawyer who wants to do real work — not supervise it. This Counsel will sit at the center of our U.S. consumer dispute docket, owning a high volume of matters from intake through resolution, while contributing to team-wide process improvements and operating in a tech-forward litigation environment. This role will also carry a supporting portfolio of labor and employment disputes in close coordination with Kraken's Employment Legal function.
This role reports to Payward’s Deputy General Counsel and Head of Litigation. The successful candidate will work closely with our AGC and Head of U.S. Litigation Programs to support Payward’s mission to deliver accessible, trusted financial services to millions of customers globally.
