This role is designed for **independently licensed clinicians** (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) who specialize in acute mental health crisis management. You are the ideal candidate if you thrive in high-stakes environments, possess strong clinical judgment, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) setting. While the role is part-time, it requires a high degree of proficiency in real-time risk assessment and de-escalation. This is a **fully remote, part-time W2 position** (minimum 20 hours per week) that offers the chance to join a rapidly scaling behavioral health organization. You will be at the front lines of suicide prevention, providing immediate stabilization and safety planning via cloud-based platforms like Zoom and Slack. What does a Crisis Intervention Specialist do?

A part time Crisis Intervention Specialist at Charlie Health plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and stability of our clients during acute mental health crises. They are responsible for immediate screening and intervention when clients exhibit severe emotional distress or harmful behaviors. Crisis Intervention Specialists collaborate with the clinical team to screen risk of highly acute clients, develop crisis intervention plans, de-escalate dysregulated clients, and connect patients with appropriate resources to facilitate their recovery and well-being within the IOP setting.
