Data Scientist, Trust & Safety at Resend

This role is ideal for a mid-level Data Scientist with a strong mathematical background and at least 2 years of professional experience handling massive datasets. As the first Data Scientist on the Trust & Safety squad, you’ll need to be someone who enjoys "investigative" work—balancing the technical side of model building with the strategic side of identifying abuse patterns and "gang attacks" in a high-volume email environment. Based at a developer-focused startup backed by Y Combinator and a16z, you’ll have significant autonomy to build frameworks from scratch. The role is fully remote across the Americas and Europe, offering high flexibility within a small, high-impact team of 30.
