Location: Remote

Salary: $70,000 – $100,000/yr

Type: Full-time

This role is ideal for an experienced retirement plan professional with 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Defined Benefit and Cash Balance administration. You should be highly proficient in actuarial software, 401(a)(4) non-discrimination testing, and PBGC filings. If you are a technical "plan geek" who enjoys the mechanics of valuations and plan coding but also possesses the leadership skills to mentor junior staff, this position offers a clear path toward a Senior Specialist (Level III) designation. The compensation is competitive ($70k–$100k) for a fully remote, 37.5-hour work week, offering a better work-life balance than many traditional actuarial firms. Nova is a growth-oriented TPA that provides all necessary equipment and actively supports professional development through ASPPA credentials (QKA/QPA). **You might be a good fit if you:** * Have mastered the end-to-end annual administration cycle for DB and Cash Balance plans. * Are an Excel power user who can code complex plans into actuarial software from scratch. * Possess deep knowledge of IRC regulations including 401(a)(26) and 415 limits. * Enjoy a collaborative, "cheerful" team culture and are looking for a stable, remote career.
