## About the Role:
Reporting to the Director of Demand Planning, the Demand Planning Manager, Lifecycle & Innovation is a highly dynamic, strategic role at the forefront of our accelerating pace of innovation. As the central demand planning expert for New Product Innovation (NPI), you will orchestrate the forecasting and planning strategies for our most exciting launches across our entire omni-channel network. Because of our rapid pace of innovation, this role is highly collaborative. You will partner closely with New Product Development (NPD), Marketing, Sales, and core Supply Chain teams to capture critical launch details and ensure the absolute integrity of our innovation data. Your mission is to be the vital engine that feeds it—ensuring that all NPI data is meticulously gathered, seamlessly communicated to your peers managing specific channels, and flawlessly executed within our demand planning systems.
- Drive Fast-Paced Innovation:Act as the central demand planning hub for all NPI, developing rigorous forecasts for a dynamic pipeline of new product launches, limited release kits, samples, and promotions
- Cross-Functional Partnership & Data Integrity:Collaborate daily with NPD, Marketing, and Sales to capture real-time updates on market launch timing, promotional calendars, and customer needs. You will be responsible for translating these inputs into actionable, highly accurate supply chain requirements
- System & Data Ownership:Take ultimate ownership of building, modeling, and maintaining all new product forecasts within the demand planning system, ensuring the integrity of the data before it flows out to channel-specific planners
- Feed the IBP Engine:Play a critical role in the broader IBP process by ensuring all NPI volume, launch timings, and lifecycle transition data are accurate, vetted, and ready for executive-level review
- Orchestrate SKU Transitions:Expertly manage the sunsetting and phase-out of exiting SKUs, collaborating with channel partners on transition strategies to minimize inventory liability and prevent market disruption
- Omni-channel Collaboration:Work seamlessly alongside other Demand Planning Managers to ensure your innovation forecasts are accurately integrated into their respective channel plans (Retail, Direct to Consumer, Professional), stepping in to support core operational tasks when needed to ensure overall team success
- Optimize Product Allocation:Drive strategic inventory allocation recommendations across multiple channels to ensure high fill rates and optimal product availability during critical, fast-moving launch windows
- Agile Process Improvement:Continuously identify and implement enhancements to NPI workflows, ensuring our systems and processes can scale smoothly with our increasing pace of innovation
## About You:- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in demand planning, forecasting, or S&OP/IBP, with a proven track record in the consumer goods (CPG) or prestige beauty sector
- Deep, hands-on experience managing the lifecycle of physical products in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, from early-stage innovation through end-of-life sunsetting
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment, partnering seamlessly with Innovation, Sales, and Marketing to align on moving targets
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and strong, hands-on experience ensuring data integrity within enterprise demand planning and ERP software
- A highly analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex, dynamic inputs from cross-functional teams into clear, system-ready forecasts
- Exceptional ability to build consensus and ensure that complex launch details are clearly understood by channel peers and accurately reflected in the overarching IBP framework
