This role is ideal for a junior-to-mid-level engineer with a strong foundation in Linux administration and a desire to grow into a specialized DevOps career. You should be comfortable in a cloud-native environment, specifically AWS, and have a curiosity for building reliable infrastructure that supports agile development teams. A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required.
The position offers excellent flexibility as a fully remote role within a high-growth SaaS scale-up. While the compensation isn't listed, the benefits package is robust, including a 401(k) with immediate vesting, a flexible PTO policy, and unique perks like pet insurance and a reimbursement program for wellbeing or professional development. You'll join an environment that prioritizes modern tooling, including AI coding assistants and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
**You might be a good fit if you...**
* Have hands-on experience managing AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda) and Linux servers.
* Are familiar with CI/CD concepts and want to work with GitHub Actions and Terraform.
* Enjoy "under the hood" troubleshooting, log analysis, and performance tuning.
* Are comfortable participating in an on-call rotation to ensure high system uptime.
