Location: Dublin; Ireland
Type: Full-time
This role is designed for a seasoned cybersecurity veteran with at least 15 years of experience, specifically within high-stakes incident response and leadership. The ideal candidate has a deep background in managing global teams and navigating the complexities of both enterprise and cloud-native (SaaS) environments. You should be someone who thrives in high-pressure situations, capable of acting as both a strategic leader and a hands-on "incident commander" when critical security events occur.
As a remote-friendly position based out of Dublin, this role offers the flexibility of working from home while leading a mission-critical function for a major global database platform. You will have significant influence over the company's security posture, driving post-incident improvements and designing large-scale tabletop exercises. MongoDB is known for strong benefits, including fertility assistance and generous parental leave.
**You might be a good fit if you...**
* Have 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a track record of leading global CSIRT functions.
* Possess deep technical proficiency with SIEM, SOAR, and digital forensics tools.
* Are comfortable translating technical crises into clear briefings for executive leadership.
* Hold industry certifications like the CISSP and have a strong grasp of international legal and regulatory requirements.
