This role is designed for a seasoned marketing leader with at least 10 years of experience who sits at the intersection of technical SEO, paid search, and user experience. The ideal candidate has spent at least 4 years managing multi-disciplinary teams and understands how to treat a website as a cohesive ecosystem rather than a collection of landing pages. You should have a forward-thinking perspective on how Generative AI (GEO/AEO) is changing the search landscape.
As a Director-level hire, you will own a multi-million dollar global search budget and lead a diverse group of specialists in UX, CRO, and Content. While the compensation is not publicly listed, the role offers high-impact strategic ownership over the entire acquisition funnel. The work arrangement is hybrid, requiring you to be in the Ottawa office at least one day per week, offering a strong balance of autonomy and in-person collaboration.
