This role is designed for a seasoned engineering leader with at least 15 years of experience, specifically within the fintech or payments space. The ideal candidate has a deep background in managing full-stack and backend teams and possesses niche domain expertise in credit or debit card systems (such as ledgers, accounting, or open/closed loops). You should be a high-level strategist capable of scaling platforms while managing cross-functional relationships with legal, risk, and compliance teams. The compensation is highly competitive, with a base salary reaching up to $360,000 plus equity. Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents.)
USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $300,000 - $360,000
USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $267,000 - $327,000
