Summary

This role is ideal for a mid-to-senior level Technical Writer or Software Engineer (5+ years of experience) who views documentation as a product. You should have a strong foothold in the modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem and a passion for crafting high-quality content that developers actually want to read, from deep-dive tutorials to engaging changelogs. As a DX Engineer at a fast-growing, YC-backed startup, you’ll enjoy a high degree of autonomy and a "just ship it" culture. This is a fully remote US-based position on a lean team of 30, offering the chance to shape the brand voice and directly influence the product roadmap by acting as "customer zero." Job Description

Resend is growing fast, and there are now over 1 million developers using it. We need your help to create an exceptional brand that developers truly love. You will create content that helps them understand how to use the product, and advocating for their needs internally.

The DX team currently includes both an event organizer as well as a technical educator. We’re hiring a technical writer to complement the team.

This role is fully remote, based in the United States with expected travel for team offsites, conferences, meetups, and more.

## In this role you will...

• Write high-quality content, including blog posts, documentation, and tutorials

• Facilitate changelog creationand help the team follow the same voice/tone

• Develop demos to showcase the power of React Email and Resend

• Increase brand awarenessby keeping our social media channels active

• Plan writing projects that include customer stories and SEO/GEO optimization

• Be customer zero and provide feedbackon new things before they are released

• Nerd out about clear, precise writing and style guides

• Enjoy doing collabs with other devtool companies

• Have 5 years of software engineering or technical documentation experience

• Care deeply about your personal brand and how it's perceived

• Are fluent in writing and speaking English

• Felt the pain of sending email in the past

• Already use Resend in your side projects

• Active member in the React/TS/JS community

• Autonomy to “just ship it”
