This role is designed for a results-driven insurance sales professional with 2–5 years of experience in a brokerage environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive "hunter" who excels at strategic prospecting and consultative selling, specifically within the health and welfare benefits space. You should have a proven track record of managing the full sales cycle—from cold calling and lead generation to closing complex RFPs.
The compensation package is high for a mid-level role, with a base range of $175,000–$225,000 plus a comprehensive benefits suite including an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) and student loan assistance. This is an on-site position in Chicago that offers high visibility and the opportunity to manage and grow a significant book of business within a meritocratic culture.
**You might be a good fit if you...**
* Hold an active Life and Health insurance license.
* Have direct experience advising mid-to-large organizations on healthcare regulations and benefits structures.
* Are comfortable with high-activity prospecting, including cold calls and personal visits.
