Type: Full-time
This role is designed for an experienced engineering leader with a deep background in Linux security compliance and cryptography. You are likely a Senior Engineering Manager who has navigated the complexities of FIPS 140, CIS benchmarks, and STIG hardening. Because this team touches everything from cloud infrastructure to edge devices, you should have a strong technical foundation in the Ubuntu/Debian ecosystem and a proven track record of mentoring engineers across various seniority levels.
One of the most attractive aspects of this position is the "worldwide" remote-first culture, allowing you to work from almost anywhere. While the salary isn't disclosed, the company offers a performance-based bonus, a $2,000 annual professional development budget, and unique travel perks like Priority Pass and upgrades for the twice-yearly global sprints. This is a high-impact mission where your work directly secures the infrastructure of the modern internet.
**You might be a good fit if you...**
* Have direct experience certifying products for FIPS, Common Criteria, or FedRAMP.
* Are passionate about internal security standards and "Compliance as Code" tooling.
* Excel at line management and enjoy coaching engineers through their career growth.
* Thrive in a high-standard, remote environment and can travel internationally twice a year.
