This role is for technically elite software leaders who want to manage while remaining deeply "hands-on." It is an entry-level management track designed for senior-level individual contributors transitioning into leadership or current managers who still love reviewing code and setting technical standards. You should have a strong STEM background and advanced expertise in a specific domain like Kernel, Python, Go, C++, or Data Infrastructure. The environment is uniquely global and fully remote, with a culture built on distributed collaboration across 75+ countries. Standout perks include a $2,000 annual professional development budget and twice-yearly international travel for in-person "sprints." While there is a heavy focus on people management and career coaching, you are expected to be an "outstanding developer" who can lead by example in the codebase. **You might be a good fit if you...** * Are a high-achieving engineer who is passionate about mentoring others and driving team delivery. * Have a strong academic record and deep technical expertise in systems, cloud, or open-source software. * Thrive in a remote-first culture and enjoy traveling internationally a few times a year. * Want to stay technical while taking on line management and strategic roadmap responsibilities.
