Summary

This role is designed for a seasoned engineering leader with at least 6 years of experience in data/analytics engineering and 2+ years of direct people management. You should be a technical expert in the modern data stack—specifically Snowflake, dbt, and Dagster—who is equally comfortable leading sprint ceremonies and architecting complex ELT pipelines. The position offers a high compensation ceiling (up to $265k base) and the opportunity to impact the mental health crisis through data-driven care. ### About the Role

As the Engineering Manager, Data you will lead and represent a team of Data and Analytics Engineers, driving execution at a high level while fostering a culture of trust, empathy, and technical excellence. You will own the data warehouse and pipelines that power company-wide reporting, product analytics, and all post-source data operations, ensuring these are reliable, observable, accurate, fresh, scalable, and extensible. You will provide structured execution, clear prioritization, and alignment with business needs. As a hands-on leader, you will lead sprint ceremonies, roadmap planning, provide mentorship, remove blockers, contribute technically as needed, and create a culture of execution and continuous improvement. You will partner with leaders in our ML, Analytics, BizOps, and Engineering teams and define a vision for data model best practices in our warehouse and ETL pipeline architecture, while supporting new business initiatives.

Additional InformationThe total target base compensation for this role will be between $200,000 and $265,000 per year at the commencement of employment. Please note, pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location, experience, expertise, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Further, cash compensation is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may include stock options and other Charlie Health-sponsored benefits. #LI-HYBRID
