This role is built for a technical leader who still enjoys getting their hands dirty. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of back-end experience (ideally with **Ruby on Rails**) and 3+ years managing people. You should be comfortable navigating high-level product strategy with executives while remaining capable of jumping into the code to assist your team. As a **fully remote** position, it offers significant flexibility, yet maintains a strong mission-driven culture focused on K-12 education. Unique perks like 15 paid holidays—including your birthday—and stock options add long-term value. **You might be a good fit if you:** * Are a "player-coach" who can mentor junior devs and perform development tasks when needed. * Have a background in CMS solutions, infrastructure, or managing Ruby-based environments. * Prioritize work-life balance but thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth R&D setting. * Want to use your engineering expertise to improve family engagement in schools.
