Work type: remote
Location: Home Based - Americas; Home based - EMEA
Type: Full-time
This role is designed for a senior engineering leader with a strong foundation in distributed systems and systems-level programming. You should be an experienced manager who remains technically "sharp"—capable of reviewing code in Go and Python and architecting solutions for Kubernetes environments. While a background in Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a plus, the company prioritizes high-level engineering talent and the ability to lead high-performance teams over specific domain expertise.
As part of a fully remote, global organization, you will enjoy significant autonomy and a culture built on distributed collaboration. Standout perks include a $2,000 annual professional development budget, performance-based bonuses, and the unique opportunity to travel internationally twice a year for in-person team "sprints." The work is high-impact, as your team's security solutions will underpin major open-source products used by millions of developers.
**You might be a good fit if you...**
* Have a proven track record of hiring and coaching high-performing software teams.
* Are comfortable "under the hood" with Go, Python, and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
* Possess an exceptional academic or professional track record and thrive in high-standard environments.
* Enjoy a mix of technical strategy, backlog management, and hands-on participation in the software lifecycle.
