Summary

This role is designed for a heavyweight technical leader with deep expertise in the "Quote-to-Cash" (Q2C) ecosystem. While listed as "Mid-level," the requirements demand **15+ years of experience** and a mastery of the Zuora platform. This is a high-level strategic position for someone who navigates the complex intersection of software engineering and enterprise finance. The position offers significant compensation (up to $213k+ base, plus equity and bonuses) and is **fully remote**, providing high autonomy. As the "architecture authority," you’ll have a direct hand in scaling the monetization engine for a global communications leader, managing a team of engineers while remaining hands-on with complex system integrations and ASC 606 compliance. **You might be a good fit if you:** * Have successfully led at least two end-to-end global implementations of Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue. * Possess a deep understanding of Oracle ERP (Cloud AR) and how it integrates with Salesforce CPQ. * Are comfortable leading a global team and influencing executive stakeholders on high-stakes financial architecture. * Reside in an eligible U.S. state (notably excluding CA, NY, WA, and others listed in the description).

### About the job

This role will join Twilio’s Enterprise Applications Development & Operations organization as an Architect responsible for end-to-end architecture, delivery, and people leadership across Billing, AR, Collections, Cash Application, and Revenue Recognition platforms .

The role operates at the intersection of technology, finance, and leadership. You will act as a hands-on architect and strategic owner for Twilio’s Q2C ecosystem, with deep expertise in Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue (ASC 606) and ERP accounting flows.

You will lead a team of engineers and functional specialists, partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Product, and Business Systems leaders, and ensure Twilio’s monetization platforms remain scalable, compliant, and resilient as the business grows through acquisitions, new pricing models, and global expansion.
