This role is designed for a seasoned engineer with at least four years of experience in field service, specifically within the medical device industry or a high-stakes technical environment. The ideal candidate blends technical mechanical/electrical proficiency with a talent for teaching, as the position dual-functions as an Application Specialist responsible for training clinical staff on equipment use. Based in the South West England/South Wales region (ideally within the Reading, Bristol, or Yeovil triangle), this is a fully remote, field-based position. It offers a high degree of autonomy, requiring someone who can manage their own schedule while traveling to client sites. You will act as a key partner to healthcare providers, ensuring minimal equipment downtime and facilitating product demonstrations. **You might be a good fit if you:** * Have at least 4 years of experience servicing complex medical or technical equipment. * Are comfortable both repairing hardware and delivering formal training presentations to users. * Live within the South West England/South Wales corridor and possess a valid driving license. * Enjoy working independently and are willing to travel frequently with occasional overnight stays.
