The Apprentice Program at GE HealthCare includes on the job training, knowledge sharing and guidance by experienced colleagues, active learning and international exposure.

## Responsibilities
- Assisting more experienced technicians and FSE’s (Field Service Engineers) on basic and complex repairs /resolution respectively.
- Working as a member of local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within assigned area.
- Documenting all actions and submit reports/summaries according to schedule.
- Ensuring proper care of spares, tools and test equipment and ensure calibration.
- Maintaining approved parts inventory.
- Managing vendor’s service delivery processes in compliance with GE HealthCare policies, as instructed.
- Enhancing and maintaining technical knowledge of current standards, codes and procedures regarding safe and effective use of medical equipment through formal instruction.
- Meeting Health and Human Services, Environment Health and Safety requirements and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
## Preferred Qualifications- Minimum of University education required with a diploma background in Medical Devices, Technologies, Medical physics, Electronics, Engineering,
- Fan of the healthcare technology & industry,
- Passion to learn and take on new responsibilities,
- Being comfortable to communicate in English (oral and written) and Romanian,
- Strong analytical and manual skills,
- Strong knowledge and understanding of electronics and IT,
- Willingness and ability to frequently travel domestically during Apprentice Program,
- Ability to exercise independent judgment consistent with department guidelines,
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail,
- Self-Starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction,
- Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions and meet deadlines,
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working within a globally diverse team across different time zones.
