# Job Description Summary

Interns will work under the supervision of finance managers across the organization covering various segments of the business (Imaging, Ultrasound, Patient Care Solutions, Pharmaceutical diagnostics) and various geographical scopes. The internships cover multiple finance functions, such as, but not limited to, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Controllership and Commercial Finance. You can expect to learn about operational finance and the core financial areas of planning, budgeting, forecasting, controllership, and cash flow management while we help you develop leadership, communication and critical thinking skills in a multicultural environment.

Our internships are for 6 months and start in July. They are all based in Buc, GE HealthCare France headquarter.

Our internships benefit from a specific supervision and are intended for candidates taking a placement year and wishing to join the Financial Management Program (FMP) at the end of their studies. By applying, your application will automatically be considered for all FMP internships offered in the same location.

Vous serez sous la responsabilité de responsables financiers de notre organisation couvrant différents segments opérationnels (Imaging, Ultrasound, Patient Care Solutions et Pharmaceutical diagnostics) et scopes géographiques. Nos stages couvrent plusieurs fonctions financières, telles que, mais sans s'y limiter, le contrôle de gestion, le contrôle financier et la finance commerciale. Vous développerez des compétences en matière de finance opérationnelle et dans les domaines financiers fondamentaux que sont la planification, la budgétisation, les prévisions, le contrôle et la gestion des flux de trésorerie. En même temps, nous vous aiderons à acquérir d'excellentes compétences en matière de leadership, de communication et d’analyse critique dans un environnement multiculturel.

Ces stages débutent en juillet pour une durée de six mois. Ils sont basés à Buc (78), le siège de GE HealthCare France.

Ces stages bénéficient d’un encadrement particulier et sont destinés à des candidats effectuant une année de césure et souhaitant rejoindre le Financial Management Program (FMP) à l’issue de leurs études. En postulant, votre candidature sera automatiquement prise en compte pour l’ensemble des stages FMP proposés dans la localisation concernée.

• Contribute to the activities of the assigned finance teams, such as account reconciliations, data visualization, process simplification, profit & loss analysis, and business planning.

• Communicate with colleagues, articulate technical information clearly, and partner with non-finance teams and leaders (e.g. commercial, operations, R&D, legal) to achieve business priorities.

• Develop an understanding of key business drivers to inform your work, gain insights into how your team’s efforts integrate with other teams and contributes to broader objectives.

• Engage in a diverse range of projects and assignments to cultivate leadership skills, business acumen, and technical expertise.

• Learn to use different enterprise resource planning and business intelligence software.

• Taking a placement year as part of a curriculum leading to a bachelors or master's degree from an accredited university, college or school

• Must have unlimited authorization to work in hiring country. GE Healthcare does not sponsor visas for internships
