This role is ideal for a senior-level full-stack developer (5+ years of experience) who enjoys being at the intersection of engineering and customer strategy. You should be highly proficient in TypeScript and React and comfortable diving into external codebases to solve complex integration challenges. This isn't a "back-office" coding job; it requires a consultant’s mindset and the ability to prototype rapidly for high-stakes clients. Working out of the New York HQ, you will join a team newly integrated with Stripe’s ecosystem, offering the fast-paced, high-ownership environment of a startup (Privy) backed by the stability and reach of a global fintech leader. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you have a unique seat at the table to influence the core product roadmap based on direct feedback from the most important users in the crypto and web3 space. **You might be a good fit if you:** * Have 5+ years of experience with full-stack frameworks like React, NextJS, and TypeScript. * Thrive in client-facing environments and can explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. * Possess an "entrepreneurial" itch—you prefer building end-to-end features and rapid prototypes over narrow, siloed tasks. * Are excited about the intersection of modern cryptography, user privacy, and developer tooling.

## What you’ll do
We're looking for an exceptional Forward Deployed Engineer to join our team and be the primary technical owner for building out new capabilities with Privy's most important customers. In this role, you will combine technical expertise with a deep understanding of customer and business objectives to architect, develop, and deploy software features that address customers’ needs and evolve the capabilities of Privy’s core products. Customer obsession is a core part of Privy’s culture. You’ll work closely with fellow engineers, product, and business teams to ensure Privy's customers achieve their desired outcomes and are delighted by our products.
