This is a high-level leadership role for a seasoned alliances professional with deep experience in the Global System Integrator (GSI) landscape. You are an ideal candidate if you have a proven track record of managing complex indirect sales channels and can navigate executive relationships at firms like Accenture, Deloitte, or Capgemini to embed open-source solutions into their digital transformation offerings.
The position offers significant autonomy in a 100% remote environment, though it requires global travel for in-person strategy "sprints" twice a year. Canonical is a stable, founder-led company, and while the salary isn't listed, they offer a transparent annual review process, a $2,000 yearly development budget, and performance-based bonuses.
**You might be a good fit if you...**
* Have extensive experience in "sell-to, sell-through, and sell-with" motions specifically with GSIs.
* Possess a disciplined, data-driven approach to forecasting and revenue growth.
* Understand the open-source ecosystem, particularly Ubuntu’s role in AI, IoT, and Cloud.
* Are comfortable leading a distributed global team and engaging with CxO-level stakeholders.
