Work type: remote
Location: Home based - Worldwide
Type: Full-time
This role is designed for high-achieving 2025 and 2026 graduates with a STEM background who are passionate about the Linux ecosystem. It is an entry-level "Graduate" position, despite the "Mid-level" label in the metadata, requiring an exceptional academic record and evidence of technical curiosity beyond the standard university curriculum. You should be comfortable with at least one major language like Python, Rust, Go, or C/C++.
The standout feature of this position is its "remote-first, global-collaboration" model. You will work from home but remain synced with a team in your specific timezone (AMER, EMEA, or APAC). Unique perks include a $2,000 annual professional development budget and the opportunity to travel internationally twice a year for week-long engineering "sprints" in different world cities.
**You might be a good fit if you...**
* Have a stellar academic track record in Computer Science, Math, or a related STEM field.
* Are an active Linux user (Ubuntu, Debian, Arch, etc.) and understand the "fishbowl" nature of open-source development.
* Have personal side projects or open-source contributions that demonstrate a drive to go "above and beyond."
* Are looking for a high-intensity, remote environment that emphasizes mentorship and deep technical mastery.
