This role is designed for a highly technical product leader with 8–12+ years of experience, specifically within platform ecosystems or complex backend infrastructure. You should have a proven track record of managing other Product Managers and navigating high-availability environments where reliability and regulatory compliance are non-negotiable. Located in San Francisco, this is a heavy-hitting leadership position offering a generous base salary starting at $213k plus equity and bonuses. While the schedule requires four days in-office (Monday–Thursday), the perks are extensive, including a 24-week parental leave policy, a $15k family planning reimbursement, and a 401k match. ## About the role
Chime is seeking a Group Product Managerto lead Platform Product, which includes Chime’s proprietary payments and ledger processing platform ChimeCore. ChimeCore is a mission-critical, highly technical system that underpins Chime’s core financial products and enables speed, reliability, and regulatory compliance at scale.
In this role, you will lead a small, senior team of Product Managers and work deeply cross-functionally with Engineering, Infrastructure, Risk, Compliance, and Operations. You will own the product vision and execution for a complex internal platform that directly impacts product velocity, member experience, cost efficiency, and regulatory outcomes across the company.
This is a high-impact leadership role for a technically strong product leader who thrives in platform environments and understands how to balance scalability, resilience, and developer experience in a regulated financial system.
The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $213,000 and up to $285,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
This role is in-office in San Francisco Monday - Thursday.
