# Job Description Summary

The Hands-on Infrastructure Engineering Team Lead is an experienced, hands-on role, critical to enabling R&D and the successful development of our Molecular Imaging scanner products within the Engineering organization. The role provides technical ownership of on-prem engineering infrastructure and services—primarily Linux-based, alongside Windows platforms—including servers, virtualization, enterprise storage, backup and restore, networking, physical data center operations, engineering tools, and software licensing, as well as additional activities required to support engineering workflows and productivity.
In addition to hands-on responsibilities, this role leads a small engineering infrastructure team and owns day-to-day work intake and execution: prioritization across projects/incidents/requests, task assignment and delivery tracking, continuous improvement, and team development. The role will also initiate and lead infrastructure projects, coordinating stakeholders to deliver measurable improvements in reliability, performance, quality, and engineering productivity.
