This role is designed for a seasoned growth leader with at least 10 years of experience, specifically within the D2C or Fintech sectors. You are the right fit if you have a proven track record of scaling marketing budgets from the ground up and possess a "player-coach" mentality—meaning you are just as comfortable setting high-level strategy with the CMO as you are diving into incrementality testing and creative optimization. The compensation is highly competitive ($235k–$264k plus equity) for a growth-stage company. A major highlight is the opportunity to own the "Out Of Network" strategy, moving the business beyond its established partner channels into uncharted territory. Job Description

Flex is a growth-stage, NYC headquartered FinTech company that is creating the best rent payment experience. ### About the role

Flex has grown our core flexible rent consumer product/business by distributing it through our rapidly expanding network of property management company partners. This core business is growing extremely fast, and we’re ready to take our next swing. We are hiring a strategic and analytical Growth leader to build our direct-to-consumer marketing strategy, focused on growing adoption outside of our property network. Reporting to our CMO, you and your team will own and scale all performance marketing efforts across channels, with accountability to end to end conversion.

This is a high-impact and creative role requiring strong analytical expertise, deep performance marketing knowledge, and big-picture thinking. You will work cross-functionally with product, sales, and analytics to develop and execute full-funnel marketing strategies that drive high-quality lead generation and optimize cost per acquisition.

This is a hybrid position with on-site expectations of 3 days per week in our New York Headquarters or 2 days per week in our San Francisco Hub. For candidates outside of the NY/NJ/SF area, you may be eligible for our relocation assistance program.

Flex takes a market-based approach to pay, ensuring compensation is commensurate with a candidate's experience and our internal leveling guidelines. For candidates located in our Tier 1 markets (NYC/SF), the base salary pay range for this role is $228,000—$285,000 USD. For all other U.S. locations, Flex utilizes a geographic pay differential based on a cost of labor index. If you are located outside of the Tier 1 states listed above, your starting pay will be adjusted to align with the market conditions of your specific geographic zone.
