This role is designed for a seasoned public affairs professional with at least 12 years of experience navigating complex regulatory landscapes in Australia and New Zealand. The ideal candidate has a sophisticated blend of government relations, campaign strategy, and people leadership. You should be equally comfortable drafting technical legislative submissions as you are managing high-stakes media narratives or mobilizing community advocacy groups.
As the regional lead, you will serve as a key advisor to Asia-Pacific leadership, enjoying high-level autonomy to shape the company's operating environment. While based in Sydney, the role requires frequent travel and offers the chance to manage a high-performing team and a substantial budget. You’ll be at the forefront of the "sharing economy" debate, tackling critical issues like housing policy and urban land use.
