This leadership role is designed for a seasoned operations veteran with at least 10 years of experience who is passionate about the intersection of R&D and customer service. Specifically, Gusto is looking for someone with a strong background in scaling Product Operations teams and a proven track record of shipping AI-infused services, such as conversational self-service or agent-assist tools.
The position offers a highly competitive salary range ($189k–$220k in Denver; up to $265k in NYC/SF) plus stock equity. While based out of the Denver office, you’ll enjoy a hybrid schedule (2-3 days on-site), providing a balance of collaborative in-person leadership and remote flexibility. As the head of a 12-person team, you will have significant influence over the company's "AI-first" service transformation.
