Our Newest Opportunity:Summary:
The Investment Consultant plays a critical role in supporting OneDigital's retirement plan services by providing advanced investment expertise, analysis, and solutions. The Investment Consultant will collaborate with internal teams to conduct in-depth analysis of plan options, identify investment trends, and develop data driven recommendations for plan sponsors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes but is not limited to):
· Conduct comprehensive analysis of retirement plan investment options, including asset allocation, performance, and fees.
· Provide advanced investment expertise and support to Sales and Service teams.
· Collaborate with the Advisor and Service teams to actively monitor client portfolios and recommend investment strategies.
· Lead the process of analyzing potential fund changes and facilitate informed decision- making within the team.
· Identify emerging investment trends and opportunities, highlighting potential
solutions for plan sponsors.
· Offer in-depth insights and talking points on mutual funds for client communication
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex investment data into clear and actionable insights for plan sponsors.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively present investment recommendations and industry trends.
· Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams to deliver exceptional client service.
· Deep understanding of fiduciary governance principles and best practices in
retirement plan management.
· Entrepreneurial spirit and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
· Self-motivated with a commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity.
· Strong understanding of ERISA regulations and fiduciary best practices.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
· Demonstrated discipline maintaining client information in a CRM, Salesforce
preferred.
· Proven success with multi-tasking and managing priorities effectively.
· Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment. ·Continual learner mentality, able to adopt new solutions and interpret the impact of new laws for prospective clients.
· Must be able to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive client information, including personnel and financial data. ·
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
· Business travel up to 25%.
Education, Training and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field (preferred), or relevant experience in retirement plan service.
· Must possess a Series 65 securities license
· 5+ years of experience in investment management with a focus on defined
contribution and defined benefit retirement plans.
· Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) required
