Work type: hybrid
Location: New York, NY
Salary: $175,000 – $255,000/yr
Type: Full-time
This leadership role is designed for a veteran Data Engineer with at least 7 years of experience who is ready to own the data infrastructure for a mission-driven healthcare company. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in the Modern Data Stack (Snowflake, dbt, Python) and a background in complex environments like healthcare or revenue cycle management. The compensation for this position is highly competitive, offering a base salary up to $255k plus equity and comprehensive benefits. While the role is hybrid, it requires a significant in-person commitment (4 days per week) at the New York City office near Union Square, making it a great fit for local candidates looking for high-impact work in a fast-scaling startup. **You might be a good fit if you...** * Are an expert in SQL and Python who can build and orchestrate complex ELT pipelines from scratch. * Enjoy "owning" the infrastructure and mentoring other engineers rather than just executing tasks. * Thrive in high-growth environments where you must navigate ambiguity and regulated data. * Live within a 75-minute commute of Union Square and value frequent in-person collaboration.
