# Job Description Summary

At GE HealthCare, our engineers play a critical role in delivering trusted solutions that enable better patient outcomes. As a Lead Manufacturing Test Engineer supporting the Cardiovascular Ultrasound (CVUS) business, you will have direct ownership of manufacturing test systems that ensure the quality, performance, and safety of ultrasound probes produced at scale. This role provides the opportunity to apply deep technical expertise, drive meaningful process and equipment improvements, and collaborate across engineering, quality, and operations to support a robust and compliant manufacturing environment.

The Lead Manufacturing Test Engineer is responsible for the design, maintenance, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing test systems used to verify the quality, performance, and safety of Cardiovascular Ultrasound (CVUS) probes. This role plays a critical part in sustaining production readiness, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving manufacturing excellence through process, tooling, and equipment improvements.

The role operates with moderate autonomy and focuses on execution, problem solving, and technical leadership within established engineering and manufacturing practices.
