# Job Description Summary

Join a global hardware engineering organization leveraging advanced design tools, simulation methods, and disciplined engineering processes to develop state of the art Magnetic Resonance (MR) systems for leading medical diagnostic imaging applications.

The Senior Lead Mechanical Engineer serves as a technical authority and thought leader within the MR Mechanical Engineering team, providing deep expertise across complex subsystems and influencing system level design decisions. This role supports and enhances existing MR platforms while leading the mechanical development of new products, subsystems, and technologies through architecture definition, detailed design, advanced analysis, and the planning and execution of rigorous verification and reliability testing.

This position offers a unique opportunity to operate at both technical depth and system breadth, working cross functionally on one of the most complex integrated systems in medical technology—developing mechanical solutions that perform reliably within a strong magnetic field environment as part of the MR Mechanical Engineering team in Waukesha, WI.
