## Job Description
As aLead Sales Analyst supporting the Moen Commercial organization, you will play a critical role in shaping how revenue performance is understood, communicated, and acted upon. This role goes beyond reporting and focuses on translating complex sales data into clear insights and meaningful business stories that influence decisions and improve outcomes.
In this highly collaborative role, you will guide advanced analysis across segments, channels, and regions while partnering closely with Sales leadership, Product, Channel, Finance, Operations, and IT teams. You will help define how success is measured, elevate forecasting and planning conversations, and ensure insights drive timely and thoughtful action across the commercial organization.

What you will be doing
- Guide analysis of sales performance across segments, channels, and regions to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities; proactively communicate insights with leadership.
- Develop and deliver high-impact ad hoc analysis and reporting in response to evolving business needs, synthesizing complex data into clear and actionable recommendations.
- Translate complex analyses into compelling business narratives tailored to audiences ranging from field teams to senior leadership.
- Design, build, and continuously improve dashboards and recurring reports that make data intuitive, actionable, and aligned with sales priorities.
- Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance reporting, establishing standards for consistency, clarity, accuracy, and insight.
- Support sales forecasting by partnering with Sales leadership to evaluate assumptions, identify variance drivers, and improve forecast accuracy over time.
- Partner with leadership to evaluate targets, performance metrics, and success measures that strengthen planning and performance management.
- Conduct advanced market and customer analysis, including segmentation, purchasing behavior, retention trends, and channel dynamics to inform commercial strategy.
- Provide analytical guidance to pricing, promotional, and go-to-market initiatives, connecting outcomes to recommendations and future actions.
- Guide extraction, validation, and analysis of data from SAP and other systems, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and reliability across reporting.
- Own and evolve reporting environments (currently Qlik Sense, with transition to Tableau and/or Power BI), helping define best practices and future-state analytics capabilities.
- Partner with IT and Operations to support data governance, system enhancements, and resolution of data gaps impacting sales insights.
- Leverage CRM and other customer data sources to deepen understanding of customer behavior and sales effectiveness.
## Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience supporting sales, commercial, or business teams through data analysis and reporting.
- Proven experience conducting complex analyses and translating data into clear, actionable insights that influence senior stakeholder decision-making.
- Strong experience working with large, complex datasets from SAP or similar ERP systems, with a high standard for data accuracy and integrity.
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, modeling, large datasets, and analytical problem-solving.
- Hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense, or similar BI tools.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate a clear data story and tailor insights and recommendations to different audiences, including Sales leadership.
- Strong collaboration skills with experience working effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience working across multiple data systems (ERP, BI tools, CRM), including SAP and C4C.
- Experience owning or improving reporting standards, analytical frameworks, or business processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity, exercise sound analytical judgment, and balance speed with rigor.
- Experience supporting forecasting, planning, target-setting, or pricing discussions through data and analysis.
- Strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement mindset in how analytics support commercial decision-making.
- Interest in learning and adopting new analytics tools, methodologies, and technologies.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $100,000 USD - $130,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
