Work type: remote

Location: Office Based - London, UK

Type: Full-time

This role is ideal for a mid-level Linux enthusiast with a strong academic background and a "customer-first" mindset. While Canonical is famous for its remote-first culture, this specific position is a rare **office-based role** in London. You should have a solid foundation in Linux troubleshooting (logs, stack traces, config files) and an interest in managing both software support and physical office infrastructure, including AV for events. The standout feature of this position is the blend of enterprise-level engineering and hands-on office management. You’ll receive a $2,000 annual development budget, performance bonuses, and the unique opportunity to travel internationally twice a year for team "sprints." It is a high-growth environment where you are expected to own cases from qualification to resolution while learning the Ubuntu development process. **You might be a good fit if you...** * Have professional experience troubleshooting Linux environments and integration (LDAP, Directory Services, Network File Systems). * Love being the "go-to" technical person in a physical office setting, from onboarding new hires to running event AV. * Possess an exceptional academic record and an undergraduate degree in a technical field. * Are comfortable with a regular weekend working rotation and traveling globally for up to two weeks at a time.
