Summary

This role is ideal for a mid-to-senior level litigator with at least 5 years of experience and a California Bar admission. The legal team is looking for a "skeptic" who enjoys factual deep-dives and can translate complex regulatory frameworks for non-legal stakeholders. While experience in the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) or employment law is a major plus, the team values curiosity and a bias for action over specific subject matter expertise. The position offers a competitive San Francisco salary ($188k–$221k) plus equity and a robust benefits package, including a $25k reimbursement for family planning and a monthly wellness stipend. You will work in a hybrid capacity (3 days a week in-office) at a late-stage, mission-driven tech company, allowing you to influence product and process improvements rather than just managing case files. **You might be a good fit if you:** * Have 5+ years of litigation experience, including discovery and witness prep. * Enjoy "teaching" law to business partners and providing practical, straightforward advice. * Are comfortable with ambiguity and excited about leveraging AI in legal workflows. * Live in or are willing to relocate to San Francisco for a 3-day-a-week hybrid schedule.
