The Logistician I supports the Navy by providing logistics and sustainment support for IT, network, and engineering systems across global Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environments. This role focuses on supply chain coordination, asset tracking, and lifecycle sustainment to ensure mission readiness.
Essential Functions:
• Assist in logistics and sustainment activities including inventory tracking and asset management.
• Support receipt, storage, and distribution of IT equipment and materials.
• Maintain inventory records and update logistics databases or tracking systems.
• Assist with coordination of shipments and equipment transfers.
• Support documentation of logistics activities including inventory logs and shipping records.
• Collaborate with logistics and technical teams to ensure asset accountability.
• Other duties as assigned or required.
Required:
• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Familiarity with inventory management, asset tracking, or supply chain processes.
• Experience with logistics tools or systems (e.g., Excel, SharePoint, asset tracking systems).
Desired:
• Experience supporting DoD or Navy logistics operations.
• Familiarity with IT asset management or lifecycle sustainment processes.
• Experience supporting audits, reporting, or compliance tracking.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
Security Clearance:
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance. Active clearances preferred. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
