FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. ## JOB DESCRIPTION
KRIV/KTXH FOX 26, a FOX-owned and operated duopoly in Houston, Texas (DMA 6), is seeking a full-time, customer service-focused and team-oriented Maintenance Technician.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, operating, and maintaining video, audio, and other television broadcast and non-broadcast equipment. This includes data networks (including SMPTE ST 2110 standards), production control switchers, audio mixers, automation systems, routing switchers, server-based record and play-out systems, non-linear editors, encoders, decoders and multiplexers, newsroom computer systems, media streaming systems, and RF transmission equipment.
