This role is designed for a seasoned sales leader with a deep technical anchor in open source and enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate holds a degree in engineering or computer science and possesses a proven track record of managing high-performing teams in a distributed environment. You should be comfortable navigating complex sales cycles involving Linux, cloud-native technologies, and software-defined storage, while leading a team of 5–10 representatives across a specific global region.
The most unique aspect of this position is the company's commitment to a "pure" remote-first culture and its "deliberate" hiring process (3–6 months), aimed at long-term career builders rather than those seeking a quick move. While the base salary is adjusted globally, the package includes a performance-driven commission structure, a $2,000 annual L&D budget, and international travel for team sprints twice a year.
