Summary

This role is designed for a backend engineer with 2–5 years of experience who is ready to move into the "mid-level" tier of their career. The ideal candidate has experience building distributed systems or customer-facing APIs and is comfortable working in a cloud-native microservices environment. While crypto experience isn't required, a strong interest in building high-stakes financial infrastructure—where security and reliability are non-negotiable—is essential. As part of the Financial Infrastructure team, you will help build the "banking-as-a-service" layer for the world’s first federally chartered crypto bank. This is a fully remote position (US-based) offering the chance to work with a high-performance stack (GCP, Kubernetes) and languages like Go, C++, or Rust. You’ll own features from development to deployment, gaining direct exposure to the regulatory and technical complexities of institutional finance. **You might be a good fit if you...** * Have 2–5 years of professional experience with backend services and distributed systems. * Are comfortable with (or eager to learn) Go, C++, or Rust in a cloud-native environment (GCP/K8s). * Enjoy writing automated tests and participating in on-call rotations to ensure production reliability. * Want to build the foundational architecture that allows major banks and fintechs to offer digital assets.
