Our Newest Opportunity:
The Midmarket Associate Account Manager (AAM) collaborates with the Benefits Consultant and/or Account Manager to help manage midmarket client portfolios. This role involves partnering with the internal service team to consistently exceed client expectations in service delivery. The AAM serves as an additional point of contact for clients on benefit-related inquiries and assists in ensuring compliance and accuracy across benefit contracts and client deliverables.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
• Deliver daily support to members and employees by addressing routine benefits questions and resolving
claims issues, such as assisting with ID card retrieval, identifying in-network providers, explaining benefit
plans, and managing claims or billing concerns.
• Respond to employee inquiries promptly and accurately through the appropriate communication channels.
• Accurately document all calls, emails, work activities, and resolutions in D365.
• Supports Benefit Consultant and/or Account Manager with the management of assigned book of business
• Reviews accuracy of client work assignments from internal service team members including but not limited to
Open Enrollment materials, mid-year education campaigns.
• Work closely with Benefits Consultant to facilitate the renewal process
• Reviews insurance contracts and benefit summaries to ensure accuracy of sold plans
• Complete client compliance checklists as directed by the Benefit Consultant and/or Account Manager,
including tasks such as 5500 filings, SBC distribution, and SPD wrap documents, as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned or requested

Education, Training and Experience:
• 2+ years’ experience in broker agency or benefit administration firm, required
• Current Life and Health license, required
• Thorough knowledge of health and ancillary products; required
• Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products; required
• Familiarity and practical knowledge of quoting process and tools; preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
• Experience with benefit administration systems, preferred
Other:
· Health/Life License required
The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $65,000 to $75,000 per year.
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
